Sophea cottage is part of a 100-year old barn that was lovingly restored. Tucked away in a huge, mature garden, guests have their own entrance from the street and private outdoor sitting area.
The cottage has been furnished and decorated with sensitivity to its grand old age. Antique pieces are complemented by original art and understated finishes. This is a place to unwind and enjoy the peace and quiet of a time gone by, when life happened at a slower pace.
Relax outdoors in the wonderfully wild garden with rural views of a windmill and orchard with magnificent Kasteelberg in the background, using the four-seater table and braai facilty.
The Sophea Suite is on the side of the house and has its own private garden and entrance from the street.
The main bedroom has a queen size bed and the en suite bathroom has a generous shower. An adjoining room has two single beds. A kettle, tea, coffee and rusks are provided.
Just outside the entrance door there are two comfortable chairs and a table from where you enjoy the view of the garden.
Or maybe you would like to relax with a book in the hammock strung between the Victorian veranda posts!
